Over the years, Chevrolet has been able to make its pickup trucks more and more fuel efficient. However, if you are looking to further maximize your fuel economy in your next truck, consider getting the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with the XFE Fuel Economy Package.

This package is available on the Silverado 1500 LT with a Crew Cab and Short Bed. The truck also needs to be equipped with 2WD and the 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine. With its eight-speed automatic transmission, this combination delivers 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque.

The LT trim comes standard with an 8-inch touch screen, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, multiple USB ports, cruise control, and a power driver’s seat.

The XFE Fuel Economy Package includes a soft roll-up tonneau cover to help reduce the aerodynamic drag caused by an open truck bed. It also adds 18-inch Bright Silver painted wheels. These features give the Silverado 1500 an improved EPA-estimated 20 mpg combined and 24 mpg on the highway.*

Keep in mind that this package is not available with the Z71 Off-Road Package, the Max Trailering Package, or the Convenience Package. It is also not available with any other additional options.

If fuel economy is a high priority for you, the XFE Fuel Economy Package costs only $850. Visit Hammer Chevrolet today for more information on ordering the package and a chance to test drive the 2020 Silverado 1500 for yourself.
